As the coronavirus pandemic unfolds in the UK, we wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what’s happening in Warwick District Foodbank. Our main priority is ensuring the safety of everyone who comes to our food bank, whether it’s someone who needs help, someone volunteering their time, or someone making a donation.
We’re still supporting people with emergency food but we’re running a reduced service due to measures put in place to slow the spread of infection.
Our opening hours are now as follows:
Wednesdays 1-3pm @ St Mary’s Church, Leamington Spa.
Thursdays 1-3pm @ St Paul’s Church, Leamington Spa.
Fridays 11am-1pm @ the Westbury Centre, Leamington Spa.
Fridays 1-3pm @ Saltisford Church, Warwick.
Our satellite centres at Whitnash, Lillington and Kenilworth will be temporarily closed.
Your support is vital at this time, so if you’re considering donating, we’re particularly in need of:
- Tinned meat
- Tinned vegetables
- Small jars of coffee
- Long-life milk
- Long-life juice
Alternatively you can make a financial donation by going to https://warwickdistrictfoodbank.charitycheckout.co.uk/
We want to thank you for your continued support, particularly in these uncertain times. The generosity of local people has been of vital importance to our food bank and we are hugely grateful for your commitment to the food bank and its mission.
