Warwick District Foodbank is a local, independent charity working as part of the Trussell network. Together, we provide emergency food and practical support to people facing hardship, while working towards a future where no one needs a foodbank. Supported by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, we help individuals and families across Warwick District, connecting people with practical support and advice as well as emergency food supplies.

Fundraising Officer

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic person with a passion for making a difference in their local community. As Warwick District Foodbank's Fundraising Officer, you will play a vital role in helping us grow our income, strengthen relationships with supporters, and ensure we can continue to provide emergency food and practical support to people facing hardship across Warwick District. 

The role will focus on developing community fundraising, corporate partnerships, donor engagement, fundraising events and digital communications, helping to secure the long-term sustainability of the charity. 

Job details:

Role: Fundraising Officer

Hours: 20 hours per week (including occasional evening and weekend work to support fundraising activities)

Location: Based at Unit 8, Trident Park, Poseidon Way, Warwick CV34 6SW, with regular travel throughout Warwick District and surrounding areas.

Salary: £15 per hour (£15,600 per annum)

Holiday: 5 weeks (pro rata) plus bank holidays

Contract: Fixed-term for one year, then subject to continuation of funding

Start date: 5th October 2026 (subject to notice period)

Closing date Wednesday 26th August at 5pm

Interviews: Thursday 3rd September
