Important Changes to our Distribution Centre
As part of our vision to be increasingly rooted within local communities, we are continuing to develop food bank distribution centres that are based in welcoming community hubs, where people can access not only emergency food but also wider support, connection and opportunities to improve their circumstances.
From September, we will be making some changes to our distribution locations and are delighted to be forming new partnerships with Lillington Free Church and the SYDNI Centre, which will become the new homes for our Lillington and South Leamington distribution sessions. These venues will provide excellent spaces from which to serve the community, helping us to strengthen relationships and enhance the wraparound support available to those who need our help. Please note that the days and times will remain the same, but the venues have changed.
At the same time, our Westbury distribution session on a Friday will be paused for approximately 12 months while Myton Church undertakes a significant redevelopment project at the Westbury Centre. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Myton as their building project progresses.
We will be undertaking a full social media campaign and will be updating the website and distributing leaflets during the next two months.
